Managing Director’s Profile

Dr. Busisiwe P. Mtotywa

Busisiwe has more than 10 years’ experience in metal accounting and quality assurance (sampling and laboratory systems) in the mining industry. She was involved in the AMIRA P754 Project for the development of metal accounting code of standards; employing statistical methods for the reduction of measurement errors. She has vast experience in sampling of particulates and statistical certification of reference materials. She holds a Master’s degree in Science majoring in Chemistry (Extractive Metallurgy) obtained from the University of Port Elizabeth in 2002. In 2008, she completed her Doctorate in Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemical Engineering at the University of Stellenbosch on Statistical Material Balancing in a Smelting Plant.
